St Patrick's day parade

We had a fun day going to see the St Patrick's day parade, and hanging out with our friends who live on the parade route. They have an 11 month old girl named Phoebe. The girls took turns in daddy's arms watching the parade and catching some beads. Prosanta gets so excited for beads when we go to parades, he wants to get the biggest best ones and wants to get more than everyone else. He's a little competitive. ;) It was such a warm beautiful day out too, perfect parade weather.

Pearls of wisdom

"I didn't read the tweet" daddy says to mommy after going to get Anjali in her bed, crying in the middle of the night. That's what you get when you dream about Twitter.

"I didn't know what they would look like, but I like how they look" daddy discussing the girls' cuteness with grand-maman.

"Please don't poo on me.. you don't poo on the people you love" daddy pleads with Chaya during a night time diaper change.

"So.. when do we cook these things?" daddy says in our dog Adina's voice, after just bringing home the babies.

"Don't put your finger in your mouth, you don't know where that finger's been!" daddy giving Anjali some sound advice.

"Eat more. Poop less" daddy says to the girls during a nighttime feeding session.

"You can repackage her, right? I'm going to bed" daddy asks mommy to swaddle one of the babies after he's burped her and changed her diaper in the middle of the night, after a feeding.

Daddy: "You didn't just throw the baby on the bed, did you?"
Mommy: "We have a good mattress."

"You better be good tonight, or else I'll throw you in the garbage" daddy warns the baby girls, during our stay at the hospital.

"I'd ask grandma to breastfeed you, but it'd probably be cottage cheese that would come out of there", daddy explains to the girls the biology of breastfeeding.

"I don't want any more twins", says daddy.

"I'm glad my daughters don't like getting naked", daddy says to one of the nurses at the hospital, after one of them just screamed her head off during a diaper change.

"You're such a big girl!" mommy says , half awake, to our 20 pound french bulldog Bessie, sleeping in bed with us, thinking she was one of the babies. Sleep deprivation really makes you lose your mind!

"Ok, you've got a few more minutes, we're closing soon" mommy says to Chaya while breastfeeding in the middle of the night.

The girl at a frozen yogurt store: "Aww... you have twins? How old are they?"
Me: "Almost 2 weeks old."
Girl: "Oh.. and you're pregnant again?"
Me: "Uhhh.. no.. that's just my leftover belly."
Girl, confused: "Oh.."
Me: "It takes a while to go away."

"You're special. You turn milk into mustard." Daddy says to Chaya, in awe at the marvels of digestion, after 2:47am feeding.

"I wish your hands wouldn't reach your ass", daddy tells Anjali during a 5:20am diaper change.

"How many diapers would you like me to use? 15?" daddy asks Anjali during 5:20am diaper change, after she immediately poops in a brand new diaper. Twice.

"Is your butt broken?" daddy asking Anjali, after not pooping in one whole day.
