Day at the park

Anjali eating apples
I know I haven't written in a VERY VERY long time, I apologize.. I kept putting it off, and now here we are. The girls are now almost 22 months old, and funnier and more entertaining than ever. Learning new words every day, they love feeding their babies, and pretending to talk on the phone.

I'll start by posting some cute pictures of the girls at a park we went to a few weeks ago. They had so much fun, not at the actual playground, which was tiny, but walking around the park, playing with leaves, and running around. They love being outside, and their favorite thing to do around the house is pick clover flowers. Chaya often comes running saying "Maman!" with a flower for me.

Mardi Gras 2013

Mardi Gras is parades, beads, king cake, music and fun! This year it was fun to enjoy it with the girls, they loved getting all the beads and stuffed animals at the parades! Their daddy always gets very excited at parades, he wants to get as much stuff as possible, you should see him jumping up and down at every float that goes by, yelling at them to throw him the best biggest beads, or stuffed animals for his girls.

Walking back to the car

We went out on a real date, to a Mardi Gras cajun dance! We used to love going to
these dances once or twice a month before having the girls. It was great to be out,
and have fun on the dance floor, and listen to some nice live cajun music!

Snack time!

After the parade, walking to the car.

I made some whole wheat King Cake for the first time ever.
It's a popular cake eaten before Mardi Gras.
The girls really liked the icing on top. ;)
