I made this blog to share the lives of our identical twin girls Chaya and Anjali, born on May 9, 2011. We are so happy to finally have our own little family, after 7 years of trying. After 2 cycles of intrauterine insemination, and 3 cycles of in vitro fertilization, we are proud parents at last!

Mardi Gras cajun dance
We decided to take the girls to their first ever cajun dance! Prosanta and I used to go twice a month, we met some nice people there, learned how to do the cajun waltz and cajun two-step. They have a live band that plays cajun music, it's a lot of fun! We stopped going when I was pregnant when my back started to hurt, and hadn't been since we had the babies for obvious reasons... But now that they're a bit older, we know they like music, we decided to give it a shot! Wasn't sure if they would have fun, if they would think it's too loud or too crowded, but they did so well! They took turns taking little naps (it was from 8-10:30pm), but when they were awake, they were happy and content. We had a great time, and our friends finally got to meet them! Here are a few photos and a video of daddy dancing with sleeping Anjali in his arms. Happy Mardi Gras!
